PPA 32 A Theme Challenge – SPRING!!

Had fun creating this challenge card today! Julie, my blogging partner was going to spend the afternoon stamping with me but I woke up not feeling well and did not want to risk getting her sick! I was so disappointed!

I managed to have a few hours without anyone around and created this card to showcase SPRING! Can’t wait for the sun to shine more consistently and temperatures to rise :)

Happy Easter Chocolate Bunny If you live in Michigan, you are probably looking forward to Spring as much as I am! It’s nice to bring out the soft colors of spring. I had a few minutes and was eager to make a card using the new Scallop Trim Punches. It took a little practice and some guidance from the video on the SU website, but I finally mastered the technique! I think the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder makes such a wonderful background. Adding the rectangle made with the Scallop Trim Border and Scallop Trim Corner punches turned this little Chocolate Bunny into...

Enjoy Every Moment … STAMPING The inspiration and layout idea for the card came from a recent Paper Crafts Magazine (March/April 2010) sketch. I pulled out some designer series paper from the Pink Flamingo pack for some bright colors. I had buttons on my mind (see my post from 3/5) so this card also got some also! I hardly ever use buttons so it was fun to actually use some on a card vs. having them stacked up just looking at me on my shelf! Hope you like it.
